PACIFIC DUB
PACIFIC DUB
Coming from Surf City USA, Pacific Dub resides in Huntington Beach which is nestled nicely in southern California’s Orange County. Other bands such as Korn, The Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold, and The Dirty Heads all have members that call this surfer’s paradise home.

Combining catchy chorus’s, heavy rock n’ roll guitar melodies, and smooth hip-hop and reggae rhythms are all significant characteristics that add to Pacific Dub’s coastal vibe, and genuine objective of creating innovative alternative-rock-reggae while sharing a message of love and peace.

From the entire Pacific Dub family, we thank you for your continued support, and look forward to releasing new music and seeing you at a show soon.
THE RIES BROTHERS
The Ries Brothers (pronounced ”Rees”), a duo from Tampa Bay, FL, blend rock, blues, funk, and reggae into a soulful-sophisticated sound. Older brother Charlie (22) sings lead vocals while simultaneously playing drums and keyboard bass giving the band it’s unique and full sound. Younger brother Kevin Jordan (19) completes the band’s “sonic creativity” on guitar, provides background vocals and co-writes many of their songs.

They recently completed a 27 city tour in support of G Love & Special Sauce. This spring the boys will appear at the Gasparilla Music Festival in Tampa, Fl., SunFest in West Palm Beach, Fl., and the California Roots Music & Arts Festival in Monterey, Ca. They have twice toured nationally as the opening act for the iconic band CHICAGO and did a 15 city tour opening for the late Butch Trucks (Allman Brothers) & The Freight Train Band. The brothers recently headlined their second show at “The House that Les Paul Built,” the legendary Iridium in NYC, with special guests Byron Isaacs of The Lumineers and Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez, founding member of the E Street Band and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The Ries Brothers have also opened for David Cook, Daughtry, Los Lonely Boys, REO Speedwagon, Little River Band, The Edgar Winter Band & The Family Stone among others. They have sold out three headlining shows at Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Murray Theatre in Clearwater, Florida. In the summer of 2013, the boys participated in the exclusive Los Angeles Grammy Museum’s Music Revolution Project at Ruth Eckerd Hall. In the summer of 2014 the boys were part of the Van’s Warped Tour in Florida. The Ries Brothers were named by The Tampa Bay Times as one of their favorite artists of 2015 and by Creative Loafing as a 2016 Breakout Artist. They have released 3 EP’s and a Live Concert DVD. Their first full album “The View From The Outside” , produced by Ted Bowne of Passafire, was released on November 10.
PRIDE THROUGH STRIFE
Pride Through Strife is more than a band name; It is a way of life. Respecting your struggles and allowing yourself the reward of feeling prideful after making it through a tough life situation. From failing relationships to revolutionary political tones and everything in between; PTS is dedicated to supplying positive messages through music. Reminding their fans that we are all one and can live life alongside one another without disrespect or prejudice.

The band currently has two singles “2 fingers” and “A Very Merry Christmas” (An original seasonal tune) as well as an EP named “In Root” with six original tracks. “2 Fingers” The most recent of the releases is a smooth high energy track that takes you through the experience of connecting with the crowd. More specifically a woman who is enjoying the music and feeling a connection with her while on stage as their eyes meet hers. “A Very Merry Christmas” is just that; A cheerful tune about remembering that the holiday season is all about family, friends, and a good time. With a playful jazz influenced hook and beautiful harmonies scattered throughout; it’s a wonderful holiday treat. “InRoot” is a collection of six songs with a wide range of themes. From “Music” a sort of musicians’ anthem to “Valley Girl” which is about that one woman who got away. Most will relate to the themes, message, and groove of this selection of original tracks. Mitchell Hillman a renowned music critic/ publicist in Arizona wrote a full review of the EP and within remarked:

“In all actuality, the cynicism is pretty welcomed—perfect timing, perfect place…”Shady Lady” is probably one of the most perfect songs that borders on a misogynist glance at feminine infidelity. It is brought to you by a damaged ego, delivered by a destroyed love and wrapped in a simply amazing package.”

This fusion of Reggae, Alternative Rock, Funk and positivity is a breath of fresh air. Pride Through Strife brings their own original creativity to these awesome fusions reminiscent of Sublime’s super groove rhythm section, strong political statements that of which are partially influenced by Rage Against the Machine, and vocal harmonies so tight they hit you like a wave crashing upon you. No matter what gets you down these boys will always encourage you to “Stay Up” while uplifting you with their high energy positive music.
