PHOENIX FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
PHOENIX FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS
Phoenix Festival of the Arts returns to Hance Park in Downtown Phoenix, December 7-9, 2018. Phoenix Center for the Arts is proud to present the seventh annual event, featuring more than 150 art and food vendors. It’s a perfect time to shop for local art and celebrate the season.

Live entertainment, taking place on 3 stages, includes local bands, solo artists, dancers, choral groups, spoken word artists, comedians, art demonstrations, and more!

The Phoenix Mural Project, a hands-on community art project organized by acclaimed local muralist, Hugo Medina, is a signature component of the Festival, allowing community members to paint and create alongside professional local artists.

The Family Zone, presented by the Phoenix Center for the Arts Teen Artist Guild, provides fun, free activities for families all day long. Activities include face painting, the teen art show & sale, and lots of fun with Phoenix Youth Circus Arts

Beer and wine, sponsored by Hensley Beverage Company, can be carried throughout the Festival grounds. Food vendor lineup to be announced in the coming months.

The Festival Main Stage, sponsored by Rebel Lounge, includes some of the best local bands in town. The Entertainment Pavilion, sponsored by Muse, features art demonstrations, circus performances, dance ensembles, spoken word poets, choral groups, and more! The Acoustic Stage, sponsored by Soliloquies, will offer up some amazing up-and-coming solo and duo acts from around the Valley.
FAIRY BONES
FAIRY BONES
Fairy Bones is back... and they’re having 0% Fun.

After surviving 2017, Fairy Bones reemerged battle-hardened and a little less mentally stable with their triumphant second album, 0% Fun (2018). Taking the “sophomore slump” in stride, the Phoenix-based brash pop-rockers made sure to disappoint everyone this time around.

NPR said the album "showcases the band's ability to write catchy ear-worms driven by the unapologetic spirit and vocals of Chelsey Louise” while Java Magazine hailed it as "unsettling, beautiful, and powerful all at once." Impose popped in to declare it “energetic and vibrant.”

If their debut album Dramabot (2015) was a doe-eyed freshman eager for experiences, then 2018's 0% Fun is the debt-ridden graduate, desperately laughing through the chaos of modern existence.

After three years of lighting up the stage as support for acts like Highly Suspect, St Lucia, Marcy Playground, Fuel, Mother Mother, Rozwell Kid, and KONGOS, Fairy Bones was ready for a new approach to being the punk rock underdogs of the digital age, which is on brilliant displayed in their DIY music videos, marketing, independent tour booking, style, and imagery.

What began as a lyrically intimate dissection of personal thoughts and feelings, the new album quickly took on an upbeat and often wildly sarcastic look at one woman's journey through her twenties. Touching on themes of anxiety, depression, and the pressures of maintaining the perfect Instagram-facade 0% Fun inadvertently echoed the same thoughts and feelings felt around the nation throughout 2017.

Fairy Bones released 0% Fun on February 23, 2018 and it’s available now wherever music is sold. Catch them touring national throughout 2018.
INSOMNIACS
COYOTE TANGO
COYOTE TANGO
Coyote Tango is a group of friends from the Phoenix music scene, that live really close to each other, and decided to make a band. We have a combined love for rock ‘n roll, in all aspects of the word.
